Fan fiction: Muppet monsters!

Wunderkind told me a story about his current favorite characters (the Muppets), and then he turned it into a book. It's called "Behemoth, Doglion, and Mean Mama in the Opening Theme."

Behemoth, Doglion, and Mean Mama were sad that they were not in the opening theme. There were not enough arches for them.

So Kermit and Scooter had an idea. They told the people who made the theater to make three more arches for the monsters who were not in the opening theme.

When there were finally eight arches, enough for all the monsters, the rehearsal started.

Behemoth, Doglion, and Mean Mama didn't know what to do, so Thog taught them what to sing and how to do the dance. (Thog is the big blue monster.)

Then the music played. Behemoth, Doglion, and Mean Mama practiced the opening dance until they learned it.

Kermit thought it was kind of confusing with eight arches, so he decided the monsters should write their names under their arches so everybody would know where to go.

"It seems like everybody did what they're supposed to do," said Kermit.

"Almost everyone, chief," said Scooter. "Where's Sweetums?"

Kermit looked backstage, and Sweetums was there. Kermit told Sweetums what he was supposed to do.

"Oh, I know," said Sweetums. And he did it.

The audience arrived, the show started, and Behemoth, Doglion, and Mean Mama knew exactly what to do.

When inside the "O," Kermit said, "It's The Muppet Show, with our very special guest star, Miss Petula Clark! Yay!"

Then the audience noticed there were eight monster arches, and three more monsters! They were Doglion, Behemoth, and Mean Mama!

The show went just like it was supposed to, with three new monsters in the opening number.

The End
