"How a Book Is Made" character set

This book -- How a Book Is Made, by Aliki -- sat on my desk at work for a dozen years or more, and then it got put away and forgotten until about a week ago. I always thought it was much too detailed to be interesting to kids (even though it is a Reading Rainbow book), but Wunderkind's been studying it for days now! Huh.

It's also out of date. It's all typewriters and hard copy and galleys and old-fashioned typesetting machines. But then, maybe that is interesting in its own way, as a historical document. Way back in the good ol' days, lo these twenty years ago ...

I'd taken a couple pictures with the figures WK made sort of scattered about, but then he arranged them in his proper order.

He uses his characters to act out the whole fascinating story!
